Tobias Mißner has tested positive for the coronavirus. The 20-year-old SV Wehen Wiesbaden full-back underwent a test due to a case of corona in his family. It is expected that he caught the virus during a trip to see his family in Dortmund, where he is currently in quarantine.
"There have already been several positive cases in my family. But I'm doing well; I have no symptoms," said Mißner, adding: "Now it is important to see out the quarantine in accordance with the instructions."
In response to the positive test result, SVWW has ordered the players and staff into quarantine at home as a precautionary measure. The club is in close contact with the health authorities. If a player displays symptoms of the virus over the course of the next few days, he will be tested immediately.
For the next few days, the club has provided the team with individual training plans that the players are required to carry out at home.
