| Pros

SV Wehen Wiesbaden and TSV 1860 Munich went their separate ways on the 36th match day of the 3rd Liga after a deserved 1:1 draw at home in the BRITA Arena. After a solo run, Johannes Wurtz put them 1:0 in the lead (29’) before Philipp Steinhart scored the equalizer which was at the same time the final score (80’).

Level on 56 points with 5th place 1. FC Saarbrücken, SVWW is 6th in the 3rd Liga table.

SVWW manager, Rüdiger Rehm: “In the first half, we used our chance well and had another few good opportunities after that. We defended strongly and had some great counter attacking chances, which we should have used to make it 2:0. We didn’t score that goal but 1860 did at the other end. That’s the way it goes in football”.

Sascha Mockenhaupt: “We can be proud of our performance. It’s impossible to completely prevent all goal opportunities over 90 minutes against 1860. Towards the end, if we counter attack well and score that 2:0, we’d even win the game”.
SVWW: Boss - Ajani (85‘ Kuhn), Mockenhaupt, Medic, Niemeyer - Lankford (85‘ Guthörl), Walbrecht, Korte (46’ Lais), Malone (70’ Brumme) - Wurtz, Nilsson (76’ Hollerbach)
